Instruction for use:
This is a personal protective equipment to prevent a fall from a height. The equipment is used for working at a height with full body harnesses. In order to avoid misuse of the equipment and ensure safety, please carefully read the following instructions and comply strictly with the instructions.
Method of use:
– The energy absorbing lanyard should be used together with the full body harness and not with the positioning belt which is not a protection device.
– The overall length of this device should never exceed 2 metres.
– Locate a suitable anchorage point away from the degree of angle greater than 30 degree to avoid any additional damage that may be caused by any pendulum like momentum.
Select a suitable anchorage point above the user with a breaking load of more than 20KN that allows a free fall distance of at least 6M. Avoid any anchorage point whose strength may be questionable.
